1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for, accessing, or using the Awadhi Dictionary application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are prohibited from using the platform. The application is a community-driven linguistic tool provided by Awadhi Shabdakosh.

2. User Accounts and Responsibilities

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are prohibited from selecting a Unique User ID (@username) that is offensive, impersonates another entity, or violates intellectual property rights. The administration reserves the right to forcefully alter or revoke any username.

3. User-Generated Content & Licensing

Our platform thrives on crowd-sourced linguistic contributions. By submitting words, transliterations, idioms, meanings, and usage sentences to the platform, you agree to the following:

• Irrevocable License: You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display your submitted content within the application and related educational materials.
• Content Standards: You agree not to submit content that is defamatory, explicitly vulgar (unless strictly in an educational/linguistic context and approved by moderation), spam, or completely irrelevant to the Awadhi language.

4. Moderation and Administrative Rights

The platform employs a role-based moderation system (Members, Admins, and Superadmins). We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor all activity. Administrators have absolute authority to:

• Approve, reject, edit, or permanently delete any user-submitted word, idiom, or report without prior notice.
• Block, suspend, or terminate the account of any user found violating these terms, spamming the moderation queue, or abusing the internal messaging system.
• Promote or demote administrative privileges at the sole discretion of the Superadmins.

5. Platform Disclaimer

The Awadhi Dictionary is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for linguistic accuracy, we are a community-driven platform and do not guarantee the absolute correctness, completeness, or academic validity of the translations, Kaithi script conversions, or grammatical usages provided. We are not liable for any misinterpretations or reliance upon the data contained herein.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts of Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, and the parties hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein.
